For both herself and the audience, a live solo concert by Corrie van Binsbergen is a leap into the unknown. Everything is possible and anything can happen. She paints self-portraits on the spot with her improvisations. From deep dark hues to bright red, and along happy yellow and fresh green to a soft pale blue. Her solo album Self portrait in pale blue is painted in one color. The contemplative album received many glowing reviews.

CVB versus FZ
Under the title “I wasn’t talking” – an answer to Frank Zappa’s “Shut up and play your guitar” – CvB did a solo concert at the Holland Festival in 2000. A solo concert with an original soundtrack and image samples entitled ”More stories from the girl who wasn’t talking” followed in 2003. . In 2006 Van Binsbergen played at The Zappanale in Germany. Stories from the girl who wasn’t talking is a work in progress, changing in length and content.
