In the season 2002/2003 CVB4 played at different jazz venues and festivals, including the European Jazz Festival, Athens and the New Jazz Festival, Moers, Germany. In February 2005 the quartet was expanded to a quintet with the inimitable trombonist Wolter Wierbos.
