The WesterparkWalk is an interactive soundtour through the area of Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek Amsterdam with music of Corrie van Binsbergen and her band Vanbinsbergen Playstation. Stories behind the specific locations
The music you hear in WesterparkWalk app was composed by Corrie van Binsbergen. It was an assignment from the city of Amsterdam for the 15-year anniversary of Cultuurpark Westergasfabriek. Van Binsbergen composed the 15-part suite FIFTEEN for her band Vanbinsbergen Playstaion. Sculptures in the park and personal stories connected to specific locations were the inspiration for each part. With the WesterparkWalk app you now can hear the differents parts of the suite, while walking through the parc. In between the parts of the composition you enter a soundscape tailor made for this app. The WesterparkWalk is an alternating musical experience.
